Job Description:

As a cashier at Schmidt’s Greenhouse, you play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service. We take care of our customers like they are family. Your main responsibility is processing sales, understanding the register system and assisting customers. You are also required to issue change and to know our policies/procedures. You will be assigned to other tasks such as: Condensing, Restocking, Watering and aiding in Special Projects.

Please note- This is a seasonal position that runs through June. Flexibility with job location and assigned position is required 

Job Requirements: 

• Must be at least 16-18 years old

• Cashier experience is preferred, but not required 

• Being enthusiastic and personable to customers and coworkers

• A desire to learn about plants, and to share information with others 

• Ability to stand for 6+ hours at a time and work in all elements of weather 

• Available to work weekends, and maintain a consistent schedule 

• Capable to lift 30+ pounds repeatedly
