Job Description:

Schmidts takes most pride with the honor of growing our own annuals and vegetables plants. Our production team would be in charge of transplanting these plants. You would help prepare our soil, cups for transplanting and tag our product. Our goal is to allow the plants to grow strong and healthy, and provide quality plants for our customers. You will be assigned to other tasks such as: Watering, Condensing, and aid in Special Projects.

Please note- This is a seasonal position that runs through June. This Job is located by the Salt Lake Community College in West Jordan. Flexibility with job location and assigned position is required

Job Requirements:

• Must be at least 14-16 years old

• Being enthusiastic and personable to customers and coworkers

• A desire to learn about plants, and to share information with others 

• Ability to stand for 6+ hours at a time and work in all elements of weather 

• Available to work weekends, and maintain a consistent schedule 

• Capable to lift 30+ pounds repeatedly
